With years hands-on prenatal and postnatal massage therapy experience, Alex creates a space within your home to help you ground, relax and give in to your body’s needs. Alex will help guide you holistically throughout your pregnancy to create a physical and mental connection with your baby that results in a beautiful birth experience.

Alex’s focus is honoring all types of birth; hospital, at home with a midwife, natural or medicated. She will help you explore your options, answer your questions and allow you to think deeply about your preferences.

Providing in-home prenatal + postnatal massage therapy to help you feel grounded, connected and relieved of physical discomfort. Alex uses long, slow and methodical movements to encourage the nervous system to regulate, which in turn encourages baby to feel comforted and calm.

What to expect…

First Session: We will explore how we can best honor your transformative journey. What are your needs, limitations, expectations, areas of excitement and fears. We will address concerns, learning about all of your different options and going over pregnancy milestones and stages of labor.
Second session: This session we will set your birth preferences/intentions and create your chart.
Third Session: We will discuss and navigate comfort measures and find out the best postpartum support that you are seeking.
Birth: Alex will be present at your birth, providing emotional and physical support based on your intentions.
Beyond: If you choose to also receive postpartum support, we will talk through your needs and what I can provide. Whether it’s cooking nutritional meals for you, tidying your space so you and partner can bond with baby or providing postpartum massage.
